It’s That Time of the Year
Every year, Fall seems to bring bugs out of the woodwork. Box Elder Bugs, Spiders, Asian Lady Beetles, wasps, and other pests are doing all they can to get out of the cool weather and into your home. It’s our job to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Box Elder Bugs– while these insects aren’t inherently dangerous to human, you still don’t want swarms of them in or around your home where your kids play.
Spiders– as it gets cooler, they try as hard as they can to get indoors. Sometimes the most simple way to get into your home is the same way YOU get it – the door! Check around your door frame to see if any are hiding there.
Wasps– we have over 50 species of wasps/bees here in Minnesota, all of which can be found in residential areas. Some, like yellow jackets, can be aggressive and leave a painful sting.
Asian Lady Beetles– hordes of these orange-ish red, polka-dotted invaders show up in the spring and fall here and can appear in large numbers.
